Duluth, MN Rebuild Duluth Creative Affordable Housing
Thirteen parcels representative of open lots in Duluth were selected for the pilot. The city provided each parcel free to a developer or firm demonstrating innovative designs in their application. City officials suggested creative steps like narrow frames and prefabricated elements replicable throughout Duluth. Monthly rents for these properties are capped at 30% of tenant monthly incomes with construction completed by December 31, 2021.
