Unincorporated ACT, ACT promotes circular economy with free bulky waste collection service

Unincorporated ACT, ACT Bulky Waste Collection Service

The service allows households to book one free pickup of qualifying bulky items of up to two cubic meters. Furniture, lumber, tools, and appliances are sent for processing by waste contractor SUEZ. Lightly used or reusable items are passed along to local charities that serve low-income families and refugees. Territorial officials will open its online reservation system to all suburbs by July 2021.
