Enfield Council has installed over 30 secure cycling parking spaces in residential areas. Each residential bikehangar can store and protect six standard bikes from damage and theft. Residents can rent a hangar space and receive a key to access the covered storage space for a small fee of £12 per year. The Council has received £120,000 from Transport for London to install an additional 180 secure cycle parking spaces throughout the borough.
