London, ON Core Area Construction Dollars Stimulate Economy

The four-year pilot creates shopping vouchers for businesses near the East London Link and Downtown Loop projects. Two Business Improvement Associations distribute 5, 10, and 20 CAD credits during giveaways and promotions. Recipients can spend Construction Dollars at businesses displaying the project's orange sign through November 2022. London reimburses participating businesses for all Construction Dollar purchases, an estimated 90,000 CAD for 2022.
