The municipality created an urban farm in Cajuru and 145 urban gardens for food production. Thirty-five Family Warehouses offer essential hygiene and food products at discounted prices, while five Restaurantes Populares provide healthy meals for R$3. A network of 80 Honey Gardens at public locations protects native bees. Curitiba also introduced the Click Economy platform for online comparisons of supermarket prices across the city.
