Melbourne, VIC Precinct Business Associations Activation
Nine precinct associations received $100,000 AUD from the city for innovative efforts at attracting shoppers. The Docklands Dollars program offers rebates including $100 AUD for participants who upload their receipts after two-night hotel stays. Kensington Business Association ran a March Madness competition that encouraged purchases from participating shops. Twenty random entrants were selected to spin a wheel for gift cards worth up to $100 AUD.
