Philadelphia, PA Retrievr Electronics Textiles Divert
Households scheduled free pickups of unwanted electronics and clothing via text messages. Retrievr sent collected materials for eco-friendly recycling with electronics refurbished for donations to households in need. Philadelphia continued to work with Retrievr on electronics recycling beyond the summer 2020 pilot with the PHLDonateTech program. The city selected Retrievr for the waste pickup trial as part of its Pitch & Pilot initiative.
