UTTL focuses on startups in priority areas of agritech, robotics, sustainability, and transportation. Selected companies use public facilities and local roadways for pilots of new technology. City employees aid the innovation process with their feedback and expertise. The UTTL website directs applicants to resources like a Site Selector Tool and Innovate BC's Fast Pilot Program.
