San Diego, CA repurposed trash collected in Mexico
The city has repurposed trash collected in Mexico to create booms that capture trash flowing into San Diego County. This project converts the trash into high density plastic that forms a barrier at Smuggler's Gulch capable of handling water carrying garbage at high velocities.
