Belfast City Council, GB Vacant to Vibrant Capital Grant

The two-year program incentivizes businesses and organizations to operate out of vacant retail spaces. Applicants can request up to 2,500 pounds for pop-ups and seasonal ventures. Long-term efforts to repurpose vacancies receive up to 25,000 pounds. Recipients need to cover at least 10% of the proposed costs for exterior and interior improvements. The pilot focuses on activating first-floor spaces in high-activity areas that are most visible to pedestrians.
