The Municipality of Contagem's Secretariat for Human Rights and Citizenship launched a new service channel to protect consumers by offering more convenient security. Consumers can now send their complaints and suggestions alongside photographic evidence via an exclusive WhatsApp number. During complaint submissions, consumers must provide the name of the establishment, the product, and the irregularity.

Contagem, MG partnered with TransCon to launch sexual harassment reporting tool in public transport
The Municipality of Contagem partnered with TransCon to launch a tool to report sexual harassment in public transport. The reporting tool works within the SigaBus application to allow users to report the situation and register the case. The virtual assistant gathers information on the line identification, the bus number, and the incident. The information is entered into a city hall database so that the public administration can plan preventive and emergency actions against sexual crimes.
