This optional workflow was designed to help local businesses navigate the requirements following the COVID-19 lockdowns and develop a specific reopening plan. Participating restaurants also receive feedback from the Health Department on their reopening plans. The CityGrows workflow is available for use by any government at no cost.

Erie County's Health Department was looking for a way to help local restaurants understand, plan for, and implement complex COVID reopening guidance. They used a free CityGrows workflow to create an optional online reopening planning tool. Restaurants can register, develop a personalized plan for reopening safety procedures for staff and diners, and download their personalized plan. Erie County Health staff can review and work with restaurants to improve their procedures. It's free and optional
