Loveland, CO connects first customers to Pulse municipal broadband network
Construction on Loveland Pulse's fiber-optic connections began in 2018 and lines are projected to pass every address by 2022. The city-owned network includes guarantees of price transparency, net neutrality, and data privacy. The city manager will establish broadband rates to stay competitive with private providers. Council members approved resource-sharing agreements with Fort Collins and Estes Park to reduce maintenance costs.
