London Borough of Redbridge, GB engages residents in co-design process for Seven Kings Community Hub
Thirty-one residents aged 10 to 16 participated in a six-session engagement in early 2022. Participants used virtual walkthroughs of the proposed hub to suggest design changes and recommend services. Three previous rounds of community discussions generated feedback from 1,000 residents of all ages. Local officials are also supporting community-led projects for young people and residents speaking English as a second language to support the hub's goals.

Borough officials worked with Agile Applications on development of the AI-powered bot. Planbot helps users find answers, forms, and documents for 200 planning topics. Redbridge's customer support team uses the mobile-friendly bot to accurately respond to phone calls otherwise transferred to planning personnel. The bot expedites planning application reviews while saving borough personnel time for high-impact projects.
