Auckland Council, NZ mobile phones for the homeless COVID-19

Auckland Council partnered with Spark to distribute 150 mobile phones to the local homeless community in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. These phones are preloaded with $10 credits in order to help outreach teams keep in contact with homeless individuals. This outreach effort was designed to ensure that homeless individuals have ongoing access to essential services during the pandemic.
