City-owned Saskatoon Light & Power will turn 17,000 of its 27,000 street fixtures into LED lights. The project reduces emissions by 114,000 tons over the lifespan of the new fixtures. Saskatoon achieves a 60% reduction in energy usage and decreased maintenance needs from the durable lights.
