The borough is working with IoT Solutions Group and Sutton Council to install sensors in 200 housing units. Each sensor tracks the resident's movement and creates a record of daily motion. Carers, council officers, and emergency contacts are alerted after significant declines in movement. The sensor network monitors air temperature in cases of fuel shortages and outages. IoT Solutions Group is using the pilot prior to a push for national implementation.
