Inner West, NSW Touchless Vending Free Period Products
Evogen vending machines were placed in 10 public locations including libraries and aquatic centers. Each machine contains 50 tampons and 36 pads with restocking scheduled every other week. Patrons place their hands in front of sensors on the machines and collect dispensed items. Inner West officials approved this project to make period products as accessible as essential items like paper towels and hand soap in restrooms.
