Kingston upon Hull City Council, GB diverts white goods from landfills with Reuse Electricals shop
Kingston upon Hull City Council, GB Reuse Electricals Shop
Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire encourage residents to bring large appliances to 13 Household Waste and Recycling Centres. Facility operator FCC Environment evaluates each item prior to collection by Dove House Hospice. Functional washers, refrigerators, and other items are repaired with parts from non-functional items and tested prior to resale in the shop. All proceeds from Reuse Electricals support the hospice, while the councils benefit from landfill reductions.
