The borough and Polysolar created a concept for Project-A.I.R or Artificial Intelligence Guided Retrofit. This weatherproof shelter features a three-kilowatt glass array and sits in a council home's garden. A social housing tenant enjoys gardening and outdoor leisure within the structure while generating zero-emission energy. Project-A.I.R. could reduce monthly energy bills by up to 45% if implemented. The concept was presented at the Grand Designs Live event in April 2023.
