The city worked with a local church to provide Rose Park residents with Internet access over a one-month pilot. Residents accessed 10 computers for work, school, healthcare, and personal finance tasks four days a week. Salt Lake City also extended the public Wi-Fi network to the Sorenson Unity Center for 18 hours of daily access. The center houses six computers for residents who lack Internet access.
