The system improves resident services with tools like illegal dumping reporting and notifications of completed services. Canterbury Bankstown optimizes bin collection routes in real-time using GPS data and traffic maps. Waste vehicles use high-resolution cameras to evaluate bin contents for future messaging. Closing the Loop on Waste will eventually rely on bin sensors and cameras to improve waste disposal practices.
