Philadelphia built the dashboard in-house after working with an external vendor through 2019. The Campaign Finance Dashboard supports searches for city candidate transactions, debts, and contributions by ZIP code. Additional features include visualizations of filer categories, comparisons of competing candidate finances, and searches for filers by ward. The Office of Innovation and Technology produced a video tutorial and documentation for dashboard use.
Washington, DC identifies trends in shared micromobility usage with public dashboard
The District Department of Transportation and Ride Report collaborated on the DC Micromobility Dashboard. Users can research total trips by shared vehicle type per quarter starting with the first quarter of 2019. The Dashboard presents all-time trip and distance data along with average vehicles used and trip speed. There are also graphs of trips, usage per vehicle, and fleet usage per day for all licensed operators in the district.
Whistler, BC Community Monitoring Dashboard tracks progress toward Official Community Plan goals
The dashboard gathers data from local surveys, Statistics Canada, and service providers. There are performance snapshots of recent trends in OCP core pillars including Tourism Based Economy and Sense of Place. A Corporate Indicators section evaluates positive, neutral, and negative trends in six corporate plan goals like Accountability and Infrastructure. Dashboard users also learn about trends in resort development, snowfall, and population growth in the Facts & Figures section.

Winning innovations share £3,500 and provide the certainty necessary for smart growth.

The interactive dashboard maps every traffic crash reported to local police since 2017. Users find current-year data on total crashes and fatalities when first opening the dashboard. Pinpoints on the Crash Data Dashboard map open to details including location, weather conditions, and time of day. Boulder will use the dashboard for future safety improvements to its Core Arterial Network.
Helsinki, FI collaborates with Geo Mobility and xyzt.ai on smart mobility analytics platform
A pilot version of Helsinki's new analytics tool feeds Geo Mobility's traffic data sets into the xyzt.ai platform. This combination creates multiple levels of traffic and mobility insights based on historical data. Municipal officials learn more about issues like vehicle near-misses with pedestrians at intersections and neighborhoods with high concentrations of tailpipe emissions. Project leaders will evaluate data limits and possibilities for a mobility-focused digital twin during the pilot.
Westminster City Council, GB studies air quality near primary schools with Earthsense Zephyr sensors
Project partners FM Conway and WSP installed 20 sensors above the streets surrounding four schools. Sensor data on nitrogen dioxide and fine particulate matter are sent to a public dashboard. There is a daily update for each school based on the Air Quality Index along with advice for reducing exposure to pollutants. City officials will compare data from the one-year pilot to the previous year in evaluating local traffic's impacts on community health.

Denver, CO supports evidence-based responses to emerging issues with Snowflake data platform
Denver undertook a multi-year process to improve services by removing data siloes between departments. Implementation of Snowflake's data hub was combined with new data standards from the Technology Services team for maximum impact. This central resource was first used for Denver's responses to opioid abuse and impact estimates for changes in solid-waste services. Future plans for artificial intelligence integration will increase the hub's role in municipal decision-making.
