Tijuana, BN Luchito Bakery Program Offender Reintegration

City officials restarted the Municipal Institute Against Addictions and its work experience program in March 2021. The bakery staffed by over 100 recovering addicts produces bread, tortillas, and doughnuts for the public. This program provides skill-building and work experiences essential for social reintegration. Proceeds from the bakery cover programs offered by the Therapeutic Community for Rehabilitation and Social Reintegration of the Addict.
