The searchable map includes layers for indoor and outdoor Wi-Fi points along with public schools and libraries. Each pin can be clicked to find the location name and relevant access instructions. County officials developed the portal alongside an expansion of outdoor Wi-Fi points at libraries earlier in the pandemic. These initiatives used federal CARES funds to build on a countywide connectivity network first introduced in 2014.
