Valdosta, GA opts for On-Demand service by Via for its first-ever public transit system
Via's partnership with Valdosta represents the company's first foray into Georgia. Valdosta On-Demand offers affordable transportation for passengers within the 36-square-mile service area. Passengers request weekday rides aboard the seven-van fleet through the On-Demand app. The Via-powered app automatically routes rides based on pick-up and drop-off locations. Each one-way ride costs $2 and $1 per additional passenger.
