Parking downtown has just gotten easier with the announcement from Wilmington Mayor Mike Purzycki that meters will be payable via the Parkmobile app.

The city quickly reached 10,000 customers within three months of launching the app. In a memo released in September 2019, the city said that it plans to use kiosks to replace all parking meters. The kiosks help reduce the number of parking ticket disputes.
