Calgary launched the Wave Tech Centre, a dedicated innovation facility where city teams and partners can experiment with emerging technologies before full deployment. The centre features a VR immersion room, high-performance computing for AI and machine learning pilots, and robofabrication using robotics and 3D printing. Initial projects include digital fabrication methods for urban objects, supporting Calgary's Smart Calgary Strategy.
