Four SalüBoxes were placed near public housing and tram stops for the 18-month pilot. Delivery services and local shops drop products at secured SalüBoxes with pick-up available around the clock. Municipal officials and Zürich University of Applied Sciences researchers will study how the lockers impact delivery vehicle traffic in residential areas. The pilot also evaluates how SalüBoxes support the local economy and contribute to proposed smart transit stops.
