Breckland Council launched the Digital Breckland programme to help local businesses advertise and sell their products online. The programme offers free digital training to help independent local businesses develop their online communications, e-commerce and data management. The programme also offers businesses grants of up to £1500 for digital services such as website upgrades, social media development, online booking systems, electric point of sales, contactless payments and cyber security.

Breckland Council, GB converts a former school building into temporary housing with support services
The council purchased a former community center from Norfolk County Council for the project. The renovation will turn this disused building into accommodations for 35 people with units for singles, couples, and families. The Thetford facility will act as an emergency housing option with the goal of moving residents into permanent housing.
