Charles Sturt, SA University South Australia Healthy Choices

A team of allied health students from the university will hold consultations with residents at the council's Civic Centre. Each free consultation leads to a detailed plan and referrals to relevant community services. Healthy Choices participants receive follow-up contacts that reinforce health improvements. The council also recruits businesses to encourage employee participation. Data from the five-year program will inform public health outreach and policies.
