Culver City, CA launches unmanned aerial vehicle pilot
Culver City's Fire Department and Police Department are rolling out their new unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) pilot program. This is an 18-month long program to test the usability and feasibility of UAVs assisting in crime scene reconstruction and disaster management.

Light weight and easy to transport, UAVs can be quickly deployed to assist Police and Fire personnel in enhancing public safety, and search and rescue operations.
