Initial plans for The Other Side Village include 440 tiny homes intended for long-term homeless residents. A circular design replicates a neighborhood layout with resident access to a community garden and on-site services. The Other Side Academy uses work opportunities at its boutique and moving service to rebuild resident lives. City officials are searching for a location and determining appropriate rent levels for a self-sustaining community beyond the pilot.
