The network generates real-time data in Harrogate and Selby's Air Quality Management Areas (AQMAs). Sensors are connected by LoRaWAN to a central dashboard for analysis of air quality trends. Local leaders will use data on particulates, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen dioxide in the design of pollution prevention measures. This project of the county's smart place program may reach construction sites, highways, and schools in other communities with connected infrastructure expansion.
