València, VC makes municipal buildings smarter and more user-friendly with Connecta VLCi project

València, VC Connecta VLCi Municipal Buildings User Friendly

Connecta VLCi upgrades 194 public buildings including sports facilities, markets, and schools. Each building is outfitted with sensors connected to a centralized building management system. Sensor data are used for queue management, climate control, and other operational needs. Enhanced connectivity supports app-based services like online facility reservations at gyms and augmented shopping experiences at public markets. Valencia received matching funds from Red.es for the €5 million project.
