Wandsworth Borough Council, GB G.Network Fiber Connectivity

Homes and businesses in the Shaftesbury ward of Battersea are first up in this connectivity project. G.Network plans to add 230 miles of fiber throughout the borough, providing high-speed Internet to 100,000 addresses. Council leaders and G.Network are recruiting local residents for employment on this project through the company's Reskillship program. Wandsworth builds on a previous connectivity project that increased Internet speeds for 70% of social housing units.
