West Sussex County Council, GB Telent Monitor Intersection
Low-profile traffic signals for cyclists, green bike boxes, and timed traffic signaling were added to a busy intersection in Felpham. Sensors monitor how drivers and cyclists interact with new features at various points in the intersection. Telent's Remote Monitoring System (RMS) presents sensor data on an interactive map. The Highways team used six months of RMS data to evaluate the upgrades and shape messaging on road safety.
