Mecklenburg County, NC MeckPathways Government Students

The county's partnership with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools offers paid job experiences to students. Successful applicants are CMS juniors or seniors aged at least 16 years old. MeckPathways participants indicate their five county department preferences and rotate through different experiences throughout the summer. Program benefits include a $15 hourly wage for up to 40 hours of work per week, free access to parks facilities, and hands-on experiences in the public sector.
