Copenhagen, DK food waste awareness campaign

The City of Copenhagen launched the "Food-without-waste" campaign to help residents reduce food waste in their homes. The city decided to take a more "hands-on" approach compared to standard awareness campaigns. Registered participants receive simple food waste tips by mail that can be easily incorporated into everyday life. The eight-week course includes eleven emails and nine text messages that remind participants to make food-friendly decisions.
