Islington partnered with Action for Race Equality (ARE) on this business training initiative. The programme recruits young entrepreneurs from minority ethnic groups who face obstacles when growing businesses. ARE also accepts applications from women and disabled business owners in the borough. Participants refine their business plans through mentoring sessions and collaboration exercises. A £136,000 seed fund offers money for participants to put lessons into action.
