Alicante issued 3,000 stickers featuring a QR code and graphics from a local artist to area businesses. Passersby scan the code to open a guide on how to respond to domestic violence including local cotacts. This guide is written for victims of violence and bystanders who want to assist in responsible ways. Municipal officials made the guide accessible with translations in multiple languages including Arabic, Russian, and Spanish Sign Language.
