The six-month pilot recruits people in temporary housing and homeless residents for apprenticeships. Participating residents receive pre-placement training and on-site mentoring to increase success in the workplace. East Sussex County Council assists with apprentice searches for permanent housing and issues deposit assistance up to £3,000. Moving On Up! provides employers up to £7,000 per hire in salary assistance and experienced mentors.
