The council's Smart Wayfinding Project began with a touchscreen kiosk at the Visitor Information Centre. This kiosk gathers local maps, event calendars, and history lessons in a single location. Wi-Fi hotspots throughout the port allow tourists to connect with council resources. The Visit Port Adelaide app offers virtual tours, day planning tools, and a business directory. This app also contains an augmented reality experience called Ghosts of the Port.
