Microsoft and Slalom Consulting helped the county develop a user-friendly app for reporting noxious weeds. The app allows residents to identify, geolocate, and report weeds with a single photo. The goal is to stop invasive plants from causing damage to the local environment.

Governments work better when communities are involved. King County is working on creating the tools that allow residents to make requests, send the county messages and stay informed about activities in your area. The first thing we’ve done is to create a way for you to report noxious weeds. You can help control invasive plants in the county as well as find useful information on how to identify them.
