Hampshire County Council, GB spurs food waste reductions with Kitchen Heroes competition

Hampshire County Council, GB Kitchen Heroes Waste Reduction

En cours

County residents register on the Hampshire Kitchen Heroes website to participate in monthly challenges. Food-saving activities like food diaries and shared recipes for leftovers result in Green Points for participants. The resident with the most Green Points each month chooses a £20 shopping voucher or a donation to a local organization. Hampshire County Council hopes to reduce the £60 in monthly food waste per family with this campaign.
