Minneapolis, MN Mobility Hub Pilot Transportation
The three-month pilot tested resident use of 12 mobility hubs throughout the city. Stakeholders used demographic and traffic data to distribute hubs based on estimated usage. Each hub provided access to a transit stop, electric scooters, and Nice Ride shared bikes. City officials included maps, phone chargers, and information displays to aid local navigation. The Mobility Hub Pilot fulfilled city goals to reduce emissions and encourage transit use.
