The city's Information Services team hosts three virtual courses on the Open Data BR, Open Checkbook BR, and EBRGIS systems. Each free course lasts 90 minutes and the courses build from introduction to exploration and problem-solving with data. Residents who complete all three courses are able to conduct spatial analyses and develop visualizations with public data. Baton Rouge's data training creates greater fluency in public decision-making among the general public.
