Chattanooga, TN launches new GIS Map Viewer with 3D modeling and live data

New interactive city map saves an estimated $17,000 a year

Chattanooga has launched a new GIS Map Viewer that replaces an older platform and is estimated to save the city $17,000 a year. The interactive map includes layers such as zoning districts, neighborhood associations, public safety information, land ownership and city services, and adds 3D modeling, tree canopy mapping created with UTC, a "Near-Me" widget, historic data from 2016 onward and layers connected to live service data.
