Cleveland City Council passed an emergency ordinance that temporarily allows local bars and restaurants to extend outdoor seating into public streets and parking lots. This emergency measure was designed to support local small businesses while maintaining social distancing guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic. The ordinance is currently awaiting final approval from the Mayor and City Planning.
