The City of Esperanza created the "Hecho en Esperanza" program to support small businesses by promoting local production. The program enables local companies and micro-enterprises that develop manufactured goods or food products to utilize the "Hecho en Esperanza" registered trademark. Participating businesses with authorization from the Municipal Program of Processing Producers (PROMUPE) can display these products in specially marked gondolas.

The Municipality of Esperanza's Tourism Directorate and Secretariat of Production launched a tourist training program designed for customer service personnel at local bars, restaurants, and hotels. The free training provides the staff with tools to guide visitors to places of interest in the area. The training is available to any local business upon request and it covers a customer service module, the institutional website, social networks, QR codes, events agenda, and useful telephone numbers.
